wildepages.com for newbie web builders

The normal legal stuff - plus a plain English explanation.

1. All written content is the opinion and copyright of the web master, other than that supplied from hyperlink, external javascripted sources or where explicitly stated.
[In plain English; The web master's scribblings are his own. Script examples naming the authors, tools, languages and other web sites are the copyright of their authors and/or companies.]
2. Opinions expressed in articles, newsletters and all other sources delivered from outside this web site are the responsibility of their respective authors and are offered here as a service to visitors only.
[In plain English; Any imported newsletter contents are the property and opinions of their respective editors.]
3. All tools, software and scripts offered by means of hyperlink connection from this site are accessed at the sole discretion of the visitor. Downloading, copying, installation and use of any of the aforementioned material by a visitor to this site is at the sole risk of that visitor.
[In plain English; If you use any of the links to access material, download tools or copy code from third party sites, you are doing so at your own risk and at the terms stated by those sites. If you try, copy or buy it please read the instructions and if it goes whiz bang please let the owner/vendor know, not the web master.]
4. Throughout this site the rights, copyrights, trademarks and ownerships of all materials, products, software and programs are implicitly acknowledged whether named or not.
[In plain English; If the name Internet Explorer is used, we all know that Microsoft own it. Even if a visitor is unaware of who owns the rights to something, the owners are.]
5. The web master of this site does not solicit or collect details of visitors, other than via page entry counters for site analysis purposes.
[In plain English; The only thing recorded is the number of visitors to the individual site sections. This is done so that the web master can see what people are interested in and attempt to improve the site accordingly.]
6. The web master does not make use of any e-mail addresses submitted via the "contact" link, other than to reply where necessary. E-mail addresses are not kept, harvested or made available to any third party/ies. The terms of e-mail address collection would only change in the event of a news letter being made available to visitors, when an elective sign up form would be used. This is an Anti-SPAM site and intends staying that way.
[In plain English; The only time a visitor's e-mail address would be used is to reply to someone who has mailed the web master or if a news letter was started. If a news letter was started it would require visitors to sign up and then confirm. E-mail addresses will never be given out to or sold to mail lists etc.. The site is anti SPAM in all forms - we don't want it any more than you do.]
