Wildepages.com was formed to try and help people start building their own web sites, by offering both information about the tools required and examples of how to use them.

The problem with many other sites dealing in this area is that, unless they are promoting one tool or suite of tools, they offer either one or the other. We try and offer both. Hopefully you will benefit from this approach, as the site is written using the tools listed or has links to other sites on which they were used.

With this in mind, always feel free to "right click" select "source" and view how the page was constructed. Where css (cascading style sheets) have been used, the coding for the reference file will be given separately. Similarly, when JavaScript has been used that bit of scripting will be available in the "Script Appendix" page.

The main intent is to get you working quickly and easily towards building your own site, AND enjoying doing it! So why not return to the contents page and make a start - check the tools and coding sections first, then go anywhere you want or work through the sections in order (you can always come back to a section).
